Romana’s Pilates® Instructor
Jo’s journey into Pilates grew from a lifelong love of creativity, expressed through fashion, food and movement. She trained in fashion design before working as a baker and chef in Sydney’s kitchens, while dance remained an important part of her life.
The physical demands of that work, together with an old dance injury, eventually led her to the Classical Pilates method. Through consistent practice, her back pain eased, her sciatica resolved, and her body became stronger and more supported. She developed a lasting appreciation for its clear, structured approach, which inspired her to begin her training as a Romana’s Pilates instructor.
Jo brings a calm, supportive presence to her teaching. Her creative background shapes the way she teaches, using clear imagery and simple, practical guidance to help clients understand their bodies, build strength from within, and move with greater confidence and ease in everyday life.
