Romana's Pilates Instructor

Gioia completed her teacher training under the guidance of Cynthia Lochard, the World's Level 1 Grand Master teacher trainer (one of three in the world).

Lower back injury transformative journey

Gioia's professional journey spanned across hotels and restaurants worldwide, where her commitment to service and dedication to guest satisfaction flourished. However, many years of dedication led to a lower back injury, a turning point that would redefine her trajectory.

Upon recommendation of her doctor, Gioia started her Pilates practice: a discovery that transformed her life! She embraced the Pilates Method straightaway and experienced its remarkable ability to alleviate her back pain while fortifying her overall well-being through emphasis on core strength, flexibility and body awareness.

Fueled by this profound personal transformation and a passion to share and help others on their wellness journey, Gioia pursued and achieved the certification as Romana’s Pilates instructor.

Extensive experience in addressing varied body conditions

Gioia worked alongside the Grand Master teacher after her graduation, teaching clients with various body types and conditions: this hands-on experience gave her the skills to tailor sessions to each individual's needs. Her approach to teaching is rooted in her firsthand understanding of the challenges her clients face which allows her to bring a compassionate perspective to those grappling with injuries as well as those seeking to enhance their physical well-being.

Simultaneously, she draws from her experience in the hospitality industry to create a welcoming environment where each individual feels valued and supported. In an industry where instructors abound, Gioia’s infectious enthusiasm for Pilates make her a sought-after instructor dedicated to guide clients towards a transformative journey of holistic wellness.
